It’s a big week of best dressed lists! From MTV to Coachella, this week is all about star studded fashion. We recently wrote a post about the Coachella music festival and how to achieve the perfect festival ready look. Coachella, a music festival attended by celebrities of all calibers, is one of the biggest music festivals in the world. The clothing trend at Coachella is laid back and possesses a hippie vibe. As such, it is a unique experience to see celebrities in such a casual fashion because we are so used to seeing them all dolled up on the red carpet.
The first installment of Coachella, which takes place over the span of two weekends, came to a close this past Sunday. For those of us who were not in attendance, now we get to have our fun. After scouring through photographs of celebrity festival fashion, we have once again come up with a list of our favorite looks from the show!
Selena Gomez: Although Selena Gomez has had some questionable behavior as of late, the white crotchet frock that she chose to wear was a sweet homage to the Disney Channel good girl that we all grew to know and love. Gomez wore a black crop top and white shorts underneath the dress, which she complimented with a brown floppy hat.
Kendall Jenner: Kendall Jenner, the half sister of reality TV sensation Kim Kardashian, also donned a look that we love. On top of wearing the mirrored green Rayban Aviators that we spoke about in a recent blog post, we were loving the boho spin that Jenner put on her look. She paired an embroidered crop top and a pair of shorts with a long and luxurious flowing vest. Jenner finished the look off with some brown cow boy boots that really did her justice.
Lea Michelle: It’s hard not to love Lea Michele. Aside from being strong, beautiful and an amazing talent, she is also a great role model for people of all ages. Michele was sponsored by Lacoste at the Coachella music festival. Instead of going hippie chic, she took a preppier alternative. Although we are definite fans of the traditional festival fashion, it was refreshing to see Michele switch things up at the event.
Paris Hilton: Paris Hilton wins the award for our favorite look from weekend one of Coachella. Both Paris and Nicky Hilton chose to attend the festival in floral frocks. Although we liked Nicky’s, we loved Paris’! The floral pattern of Paris’ maxi dress along with the flower crown that adorned her head were a nice change from her normal attire. Keep it up Paris!
