Six Looks That We Love From The 2014 Met Gala Fundraising Benefit

It was another successful year at the Met Gala! The annual fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute went off without a hitch and experienced an ample amount of celebrity turn out. All of the hottest celebrity A-listers made an appearance at the event, which is considered to be the “Oscars of fashion.” The gala, which is hosted by Vogue magazine, features a theme for guests to plan their wardrobes around. The theme this year was a tribute to Charles James, “Americas best-known couturier.” We fashionistas know that any event that is hosted by Vogue magazine must be amazing! As such, we have compiled a list of our top five favorite celebrity ensembles from the 2014 Met Gala and even picked out jewelry looks that are similar to the ones that they wore!

Rihanna was a complete head turner in a stunning midriff-baring white dress by Stella McCartney. The “Umbrella” singer paired this number with simple diamond studs, which look a lot like the Lafonn Silver Solitaire Studs.

Similar to Rihanna, Anne Hathaway went with a midriff-baring ensemble. “The Princess Diaries” actress wore a red Calvin Klein Collection dress and a pair of diamond drop earrings that remind us of the Taara White Gold Crystal And Seed Pearl Angelina Earrings.

Sarah Jessica Parker achieved one of our favorite looks of the night in this jaw-dropping black and white evening gown by Oscar de la Renta. This dress screams pure elegance. The “Sex In The City” star paired this gorgeous gown with diamond drop earrings. If you love this look, then you might like the Genevive by CZC Euro Round CZ Drop Earrings.

Lupita Nyong’o has become quite the red carpet hit this past year, so it’s no surprise that we were anxiously waiting to see what unique look that she would be wearing at the 2014 Met Gala. People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2014 once again kept us on our toes as she donned a beaded frock by Prada. Like most of the celebrity A-lister’s in attendance, the “12 Years A Slave” star kept her jewelry simple and let her dress do the talking. We admired the subtle shine that she added to her ensemble with her bracelets, which remind us of the shimmering Roberta Chiarella Platinum And Swarovski Elements Cha Cha-Licious Cuff Bracelet.

Burlesque glamour girl Dita Von Teese kept true to her vintage elegance as she wowed in her Zac Posen dress, which she paired with a gold bib necklace that resembles the Carolee Crystal Geometric Station Necklace.

Beyonce looked as glamorous as ever as she walked the red carpet along with Jay Z, both wearing outfits by Givenchy Couture. Aside from the Philip Treacy veil that she accessorized her look with, the “Drunk In Love” singer wore dramatic chandelier earrings which we think look like the Blu Bijoux Gold And Onyx Chandelier Earrings.
