Max & Chloe’s Top 10 Met Gala’s Red Carpet Looks

Maxandchloe.com obsessively follows the world’s most fashionable people in the industry to bring you the best ways to mimic the looks of your favorite celebs. So imagine our excitement last week as all the A-listers turned out May 6th, for the The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute benefit celebrating the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” theme, hosted by Vogue magazine. We couldn’t be more charged up to show you our top picks for best dressed at fashion’s biggest red carpet event of the year! We’re taking a look at a few of the best 2013 Met Gala outfits yet, in no particular order, and offering fabulous accessory look-alikes.

Beyonce wore Givenchy for the star-studded gala. The gown itself was so incredibly stunning, Beyonce kept her accessories down to the bare minimum, wearing a pair black stud earrings like these Trina Turk Black and Textured Gold Square Post Earrings.

Sarah Jessica Parker wowed the crowd in a headpiece by Phillip Treacy and dress by Giles Deacon. This Otazu Regal Crystal Necklace matches the whimsical look. She looks like a beautiful fairy princess!

Rock star Katy Perry always brings lots of drama to the red carpet. She compliments her Dolce & Gabbana dress with royal Victorian-inspired cross earrings like these majestic Gold and Silver Cross Drop Earrings from Yochi.

Musician, and No Doubt frontwoman, Gwen Stefani, rocked an amazing Maison Martin Margiela black and white dress. She wore a choker like this sublime Gold Gooselink Crystal Choker Necklace from Roman Luxe.

Uma Thurman, the beautiful star of the notorious Kill Bill films, dazzles in a fitted gown by Zac Posen. A gown this sleek and elegant called for bold gold accessories like Elizabeth Cole’s Multi Gemstone Vintage Drop Earrings, and Yochi’s Gold Delicate Cuff Bracelet. Uma is also wearing a bracelet similar to the I. Reiss Scattered Diamond Gold Cuff, one of the best in Max & Chloe’s fine jewelry collection.

Blake Lively is mesmerizing on the red carpet in a black waterfall Gucci Première gown. These glorious Otazu Silver Swarovski Crystal Flower and Multi-chain Earrings are beautiful and bold earrings, perfect for this glamorous statement-making dress.

Taylor Swift, a previous best dressed winner on the E! channel’s TV show, Fashion Police, will probably win again in this geometric black ball gown from J. Mendel. Do you see that gorgeous sparkling bracelet? It resembles Otazu’s unforgettable Teardrop Crystal Bracelet.

Jennifer Lopez is always a stunner. She embodied a leopard goddess from her hair to her makeup to her skin-tight long flowing leopard-print gown. We would have loved to see her wearing this Seraphina Round Black and Brown Leopard Print Ring as she held her small black clutch posing for this photo.

Gwyneth Paltrow, People Magazine’s most beautiful woman shows off her Valentino Couture gown. She flaunts that signature ‘Marilyn Monroe pink’, so of course, diamond studs were Gwyneth’s best friend for the evening. The Silver and Pave Diamond Stud Earrings from Mystic Light are to die for.

And last but certainly not least, Rose Huntington-Whitely rocks a killer metallic gown from Gucci. Long Swarovski crystal earrings like these luxurious Ben-Amun Crystal Long Chandelier Earrings perfected this amazing look.

What do you think of our red carpet choices? Did you have some favorites of your own? As Vogue magazine stated, “The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala was a ‘Clash of the Fashion Titans’ this year, with moments of bold, impeccable elegance and looks that were just great”. We certainly agree!
