This year’s People’s Choice Awards were tame in comparison to seasons’ past. But we’re fine with that. Let’s be honest, all we really care about is who wore what. And boy, did those A-through-C-listers look good. From Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang to Lea Michele in a bright pink Elie Saab mini, stars strutted their stuff for this always-interesting awards show. Taylor Swift
Harry, who? The single-again Taylor Swift looked in-CRED-ible on the red carpet at this year’s People Choice Awards. She was to-die-for in a creamy white, floor-length Ralph Lauren, with a train, no less. The only accessories she chose were stunning, large turquoise drop earrings (like these Meghna Designs turquoise resin carved rectangle drop earrings) and stacked gold rings. Another vision in white, Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo arrived in a carpet-grazing ivory Lanvin dress cinched with a black belt. In tune with the goddess-esque gown, our favorite doctor (Pompeo won Favorite Dramatic TV Actress that night) accentuated her duds with dainty gold ditties. Naomi Watts
Turning up the Watt-age (sorry, we just couldn’t resist), Naomi Watts shined bright in an Alexander McQueen gold sequined backless halter dress. While some may wonder what to wear with such a loud piece, Watts pulled it off perfectly in triangle drop earrings (Evocateur makes a larger tri-star version), an assortment of gold bangles and a sparkly pink ring.
