Hello lovelies! Another year, another boozy, technically-inept Golden Globe Awards. The show was filled with expected goofs (Amy Poehler and Bono made out…) and surprise wins (newbie Brooklyn Nine Nine beat out assumed favorites Modern Family, Parks and Rec and Girls for Best Comedy Series). Below, a break down of some of our favorite fashion statements of the night, plus a Max & Chloe version so you can rock some serious star style.
The reigning princess of Hollywood, Jennifer Lawrence looked lovely in a black-and-white Dior gown. The Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture winner (for American Hustle) pulled her whole look together with some feminine, vintage-y long teardrop earrings. Mila Kunis killed it Sunday night in a stunning, sparkly, metallic Gucci gown. Like Lawrence, her outfit was accented by some simply amazing little emerald studs, which added a necessary pop of color to the look and cemented Ashton Kutcher’s girlfriend as a stylista. Sport a similar pair of earrings with Kendra Phillip’s Gold and Emerald Crystal Jess Earrings.
Newcomer on the scene, 12 Years a Slave’s Lupita Nyong’o left a major mark on the Red Carpet in one of the most gorgeous dresses of the evening. Her Ralph Lauren red cape dress made jaws drop, as did her refined jewelry selection. Because of her statement gown, her jewelry choice - a pair of flawless diamond stud earrings - was understated yet overwhelmingly perfect. Last but not least is Zooey Deschanel, who looked retro-licious in an Oscar de la Renta off-white gown. Her side swept chignon perfectly accented the small, dainty and totally fantastic drop earrings she sported.
