Today we are celebrating something that’s very important to us here at Jewelry Dose. It’s National Jewelry Day, and we want to encourage you all to go out and look extra fabulous in honor of this special day. National Jewelry Day is something that often goes unrecognized in comparison to other holidays. This needs to change. Jewelry is so important in everyday life, even if you do not realize it. Not only does every piece completely change the personality of an outfit, but some jewelry also holds symbolic meaning.
Throughout life, many of us wear jewelry with a special meaning. Some of us may wear jewelry with religious pendants to carry our faith with us everywhere we go. As we go through the journey of life, we may be given “Best Friend Bracelets” from childhood friends and promise rings from our first boyfriend or girlfriend. We may purchase high school and college class rings that symbolize our accomplishments. As we grow out of adolescence and into adulthood, some of us exchange wedding rings with our significant other as a sign of undying love and an eternal bond. These moments are memorable and always apart of you, even if the commitment didn’t last. So whether or not you are a jewelry lover, there is a good chance that a piece of jewelry has been important to you at some point in time.
