Brrrrr! We don’t know what we’re going to do if we don’t get some relief from these frigid temperatures some time soon! It’s never fun to go through the day with the inevitable hat-hair that comes along with the chilly temperatures. When the mercury drops, we like to keep warm with cups of delicious hot chocolate. Throw in a bit of peppermint syrup (or peppermint schnapps for those of you who are really cold) and plop an extra large dollop of whipped cream on top, and you’ll begin to forget that it’s like the tundra outside your door. We even make our morning commute a bit toastier with hot chocolate from one of the thousands of coffee shops nearby.
Clearly, we just can’t get the sugary, creamy concoction out of our heads. We’ve been Google-ing different hot chocolate recipes and mixing in different flavors to our tried-and-true favorites. Why not extend this newfound passion for chocolate into something else that we love like jewelry! In a scan of Max & Chloe, we came across some pieces that bear the same wonderful, luscious, rich tones of a big ol’ mug of hot chocolate.
Deborah Grivas Designs Grape Crystal Loop Earrings seriously make us think of that wonderful beverage. Don’t let the name fool you. The grape mentioned in these earrings actually refers to the size of the stone, rather than the color. The brown crystal that hangs below a hammered gold hoop would look especially lovely on toe headed ladies because it’s not as stark of a contrast as black jewelry would be.
We’re also pretty fond of One of a Kind Leather Rings, mainly because these rings sit flush against your finger. That way, you can wear gloves without worrying that you’ll snag threads from your gloves on your ring, or have a strange looking bump on one of your digits. They’re also completely different than any other ring we’ve seen: you don’t see rings with leather bands very often.
Lastly, one of our newest pieces, Orka Mesica Peace Watch Bracelet, really is perfect for everyday wear. Brown is one of those colors like black that is very versatile, especially when in accessory form. This bracelet’s watchband design will look amazing when teamed up with stacks of bangles and beaded bracelets.
