Originally from Jaipur, India, Bordia comes from a long line of jewelers. For more than a decade, the Mookim family has been the exclusive jeweler for the royal family. The city is also known as the center for stone gem cutting. From a young age, she was obsessed with jewelry, creating her own designs and even outfitting her dolls. She would even accompany her father on buying trips and shows. She went on to study fashion at the Fashion Institution of Technology in New York and worked with some of the country’s top designers like Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole. She eventually took the plunge into the world of jewelry, gaining even more in-depth knowledge of diamond grading and quality with a Graduate Degree from the Gemological Institute of America.

Tresor offers more than jewelry, each unique item is meant to inspire creativity and add a refined glamour to a woman’s everyday look. The collection’s main lines are Logo, Fin, Dazzle, Bellezza, and Soie. Their logo, equally intricate can be found on some of the collection’s statement pieces. Just like her father, she travels the world for inspiration and procurement of the best raw products.

Her dainty and beautiful collections are coveted by top celebrities such as Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Catherine Zeta Jones and have been featured in publications like In Design, Couture International and Wedding Style.
