By now, we’re sure you’ve picked apart Sunday’s showing of red-carpet Emmy looks, separating the good, the bad and the “What was she thinking?!” From color trends to fashion-statement trip-ups, there was a lot of material to work with. But we’re most excited about the Emmy-gown embellishments—the jewels, the bling, the pièce de résistance. Here, our top three favorites and tell us what you think in the poll below!
The Gold Medal
Winner Claire Danes took home the gold for her role in “Homeland.” The trophy matched Lady Danes’ marigold Lanvin Greek goddess strapless, which she draped with gold accessories. A group of gold bangles bedazzled the pregnant star’s wrist with organic textures and stones. Grow your own glamorous glitz by layering Ted Rossi’s Gold Python bangles with this Bayview Textured Vermeil Citrine Marque bangle set.
Super-Model Stunner
Once again, Heidi Klum secured a spot on the Best Dressed list with a high slit and deep plunge in her sleeveless Alexandre Vauthier gown, which had us saying, “Seal, who?” The soon-to-be-divorcee didn’t want to obscure her neckline (and we don’t blame her!) and opted for earrings only for her Emmy ensemble. Model like Ms. Klum in these Light Blue Navette Cluster dangle earrings from Elizabeth Cole Jewelry.
Not-So-Plain Jane
One of the few to rock a necklace was “Suburgatory’s” Jane Levy, and boy, did she rock it well. The square, sweetheart neckline of her royal blue Pamela Rolland dress impeccably displayed her Art-Deco-inspired collar necklace. Recreate this look creatively with Mixology NYC’s Cleopatra Bib Anklet as a necklace (just hook it on the last link). No red carpets in your future? Not to worry—these jewels look just as smashing paired with skinny jeans and a slouchy tee.
