As most of you know, the 2014 Oscars aired this past Sunday. The show experienced higher ratings than any awards show has in the past 14 years with a whopping 43.7 million viewers! These stats do not surprise us at all though. As viewers of the star studded event, there were quite a few things that we were looking forward to seeing: Ellen DeGeneres hosting the show, Leonardo Dicaprio’s Oscar nomination, The Wizard of Oz tribute event and the stunning red carpet fashion.
The red carpet fashion at the event was rather impressive. From the gowns to the jewelry, many of the stars got their look right and managed to take our breath away.
A very pregnant Olivia Wilde sported an all black ensemble, which she mixed up with some white tear drop earrings that look a lot like our White Elongated Teardrop Earrings. The earrings brought a pop of color to her dark and mysterious outfit.
Jennifer Garner made us realize how much we love Canary Yellow Stones. Garner wore a sparkling rock that made her outfit 10 times better. The ring, which is very similar to the Lafonn Canary Yellow Square Stone Ring, reminds us of royalty. The stone looks great in any jewelry item. From necklaces like the Lafonn Canary Yellow Pendant Necklace to earrings like the Lafonn Canary Square Stud Earrings, the yellow stone is a great compliment to a dressy look.
Then there is Kerry Washington. We have been talking about Kerry quite often lately. This chick knows how to dress, and her look is always on point! We have to be honest in saying that her dress was not our favorite of the night, but her earrings made up for it and proved that simple can say a lot. Kerry accessorized her gown with small diamond encrusted earrings that look almost identical to the Foxy Originals Crystal Spire Earrings. These earrings are subtle and will look good any outfit, be it glamorous or casual.
