Get the Cover Look: Zooey Deschanel, Glamour, February 2013

Zooey Deschanel is refreshing. The quirky girl-next-door stole our hearts as Jim Carrey’s carefree opposite in “Yes Man,” and the lead in the tragic-but-loveable romance “(500) Days of Summer.” Since then she’s risen to the top of Hollywood’s A-list, making comedic strides in polka dots and bangs. We, personally, are hooked on the star’s hit comedy series on FOX, New Girl. The multi-faceted, multi-talented Deschanel includes musician on her extensively impressive resume, and she also is a co-founder of HelloGiggles.com, an online entertainment destination and lifestyle community for “smart, independent, and creative females.” That’s so Zooey. We’re not sure we’ve ever seen this starlet with a bad hair day, and her February 2013 Glamour cover is no exception. Channeling a neo-feminist Bridget Bardot, Deschanel looks ravishing in a corseted robin’s egg blue frock that matches her piercing eyes. Keeping it straight-to-the-point, this down-to-earth beauty accessorized her dolled-up dress with a select few gilded additions. Get a similar look (because who wouldn’t want to emulate this inspiration of a woman?) in Dara Ettinger’s Betsy brilliant geode necklace, Belair eye and heart pave bracelet and an Emily Elizabeth Jewelry unbreakable bangle.
