I wasn't sure which company to use when I wanted to buy two gold monograms as special gifts. Max ans Chloe was recommended by several people. I ordered two different letter combinations in 14 K gold. The company was nice enough to send me a sample of what the monograms would look like when the combination of letters was put into a monogram. The finished products were fantastic, beautiful pieces of jewelry. I showed them to a friend and she is going to order one also. I had debated between the large and classic monogram necklaces, but I am SO happy that I went with the 14k gold large monogram necklace. It is the perfect size to make a statement, but still delicate and pretty. I also think the 16 inch length is perfect. Shipping took about 2.5 weeks just as the website stated. The only thing that could be improved upon is that the necklace be placed in soft bag and not just the plastic wrapping and box. Besides that, LOVE this necklace!!

I received my large monogram pendant yesterday. I really love it. It is an amazing piece that is so different and personal. I did it a little bit differently, I am getting married in June so my last name will change. I ordered my fiance's initial and my first name initial and then my new (our) last name. Pretty cool. It is very detailed and shiny in the silver. The weight is nice. The chain however, could be a tab bit thicker but it's still a wonderful piece that I will wear many years from now. It will be perfect for our honeymoon showing off my new last name and together as "one" with our names. The packaging of the item was in a bubble wrap and I was worried before I opened it if the mailman folded it and the silver plate would be bent but it was fine. I'm really enjoying my monogram necklace and have had lots of complements on it. The only thing I find with it is it smudges really easily so I'm always having to wipe it off before I wear it. \r\nIf anyone is confused with putting your last name initial in the middle like I was...that is the traditional way people used to do it. A traditional 3-letter monogram has the initial of the individual's last name (surname) set larger, or with some special treatment in the center, while the first name initial appears to the left of it and the middle name initial appears to the right of it. I am TOTALLY in love with my monogrammed initial necklace by West Avenue from Max and Chloe! It's so personal and trendy and I've gotten a MILLION compliments on it! \r\n\r\nAs a side note: the instructions when placing your order are a little bit tricky. The instructions on the site state that you should list your intials in the order in which you want them to appear. However there is a side note that says "typically the last initial appears in the middle". Just be sure when placing your order to list the initials exactly in the order you want them to appear to avoid any mishaps like I did :( \r\n\r\n

At first I panicked thinking it was dipped poorly but soon realized it was some type of coating. The chain is delicate and beautiful and the monograming really pops out without a heavy chain.
