Tassels: Not just for Graduation

We typically save wearing tassels for graduation ceremonies. Moving your tassel from one side to the other signifies the completion of high school, college and beyond. It symbolizes recognition, achievement and prestige. Breaking tradition, we give the green light to wearing tassels all year, just not on your hat or with a graduation year attached, please. Nicole Romano, Bee Charming and ABS have all incorporated tassels into an assortment of their jewelry designs. We saw Kristen Bell sport a long necklace with a heart and short short tassel at the end, so we know tassels are more than welcome outside of commencement ceremonies.

With various bracelets, earrings and necklaces you can easily incorporate tassels into your collection. Bee Charming has an assortment of inspiration necklaces and bracelets we adore. Since layering bracelets and beads is very in vogue right now, you can mix and match designs to create your own personal look. Try Energy and Intelligence or Self Esteem and Serenity bracelets and necklaces along with other inspirations including Romance, True Love, Courage, and Patience and Virtue. Similar to Kristen Bell’s sleek black tube dress and long tassel necklace, we love the Nicole Romano Black Bead Tassel Necklace paired with modest dress or shirt. This lavish necklace features German black beads with colored crystal stones and brass beads. We recommend small post earrings with this look, the necklace is powerful enough.

Aside from bracelets and necklaces, you can also rock the tassel look with these ABS Gold Tassel Earrings. The gold plated chains and strands of crystal and topaz crystal stones make these tassel earring sparkle, literally! Distinct and seductive these tassel earrings are polished and proper for an assortment of occasions.
