Although you might be enjoying your holiday preparations, parties and practicing recipes, it seems like the rest of the world migrated to Miami Beach in early December to partake in an industry-wide love affair with art, culture, fashion and schmoozing: Art Basel Miami Beach 2012. While the focal point during this week (which is literally one of the world’s most prestigious art fairs) is art and design (natch), fashion comes in at a close second. Practically every design house had its own dedicated party (DVF, Fendi, Chanel, Stella McCartney… The list goes on) throughout the week, complete with designers and creative directors in attendance. These major labels weren’t the only style inspiration. From what we’ve seen, the international guests brought a haute flair to the Oceanside oasis. Taking a few couture cues, we’ve compiled a list of design-inspired accessories that feature pop-art colors and architectural details. Wearing these, you’d blend in well with the Basel crowd.
