In 1989, Isaac Reiss founded the I. Reiss Collection in New York and established a place in the industry with the creation of a high-end fine jewelry line. Known for its distinctive bold and chunky yellow gold looks, Reiss and his team handcraft each piece in 14K and 18K gold, enhancing them with diamonds, gems and pearls.

When asked why he specializes in yellow gold, Isaac Reiss says: “When I started, 90 percent of what I saw in stores was white gold and platinum. I have always loved yellow gold, and I believe that a metal should be displayed in its natural color.

“I create sinuous geometric shapes that have fluidity and motion in design… and I strongly feel that a metal should be shown in its natural color. I find that my chunky and bold aesthetic appeal is much more attractive in yellow gold. It's a big look, at affordable prices.”

Reiss’ relates more about his design process: “I can just see something beautiful, and it will inspire me - a painting in a museum, the colors and contours of objects in nature, or a night out at the theater.”

Recently, the designer debuted a new line of electroform pendants, rings and earrings with a filigree finish, as well as additions to his signature cuff collection.

The I. Reiss Collection has been featured numerous times in publications such as In Design, and the designer is a multiple recipient of the Jeweler’s Choice Award.
